Welcome to episode two
of My True Ghost Stories.

I have two stories for you today.

The first is about what I'm going
to call facilitating communication

between two family members,
one living and one deceased.

And the second is about a message I got
during a massage for people I don't know.

And here goes.

Speaker: This story is called Robert

an acquaintance of mine was an owner of
a restaurant that I had never been to and

she had lots of employees who I had not
met and she, She knew that I did this

work with helping spirits to cross over.

And she told me that in conversation
she had told some of her

employees about me and what I do.

So at this time I had had a serious
case of laryngitis and I had lost

my voice completely and I was just
starting to get my voice back and it

was very gravelly and it was very low.

So my friend, the restaurant owner,
called me one day to tell me that one

of her employees that she had told
about me had come up to her and asked

her, Does your friend, Jennifer, have
blonde curly hair and a raspy voice?

And she said, Yes!

How did you know that?

Because we had never met
and she had not shown.

him a picture of me.

And he said, she was talking
to me in a dream last night.

So she said, well, would you like
to talk to her in this dimension?

And he said, yes.

So she got my permission
and she gave him my number

before a call from this man, I
received a message from the universe.

And the message told me that
there was someone named Robert

in this man's apartment.

And we will call him Steve.

So there was someone in Steve's apartment.

named Robert, and he was a good person.

I could tell that from this message.

Eventually Steve called.

And after marveling together about
how we had met in his dream, and his

completely accurate vision of me with
the blonde curly hair and the raspy

voice, which I still had when he
called me, uh, he told me, There is a

presence in my apartment, and it's not
scary, but it has intensified lately.

And nothing in particular
had happened in his apartment

It was just the feeling that he was
not alone, and that the feeling was

getting stronger, and he was starting
to get uncomfortable with this presence.

Speaker: and he knew that it had something
to do with this dream so I listened and I

told him, there is someone named Robert.

in your apartment.

And he either likes you or
he likes your apartment.

And it's a good spirit.

I said, does the name
Robert mean anything to you?

And he said, well, my grandfather's name
was Robert, but he died before I was born.

And even though he had died
before Steve was born, I was

pretty sure that that was him.

So I said, yes, I think that's him,
but I need to meditate further on it.

So I told him I would check back in
with him after I had done some more

thinking and some more meditating
and figure out what we should do.

And that night I had a dream.

And in the dream was a picture
of a young man in his thirties.

And I knew that this was Robert.

Along with this picture, when nothing
really happened, just, just sort

of an identification of Robert.

Another thing that happened in this
dream was this long, slow motion

vision, which I can only describe
as metal folding into other metal.

And I did not know what it was, but I
did remember it and took note of it.

So that weekend I went to church.

I had not talked to Steve again
yet because I wasn't through

thinking about these things.

And at church, there's a restroom
downstairs and there are stairs

that lead up to a door that
opens to the lobby of the church.

And for some reason I have had
experienced lots of spirit activity

and communication in church lobbies.

I don't know why.

I turned around, I finished washing
my hands, and I turned around, and

I faced the stairs leading up, and
standing at the top of the stairs

in front of the door leading to the
lobby was Robert, the young man in his

thirties, from my dream the night before.

And he said to me, very intensely, When
are you coming to Steve's apartment?

And he was so direct with me.

I I immediately answered, soon, soon.

Uh, we're going to set it
up in the next few days.

I went home.

I did further meditation.

on Robert and Steve.

And during this meditation, I saw a
blue wall with a shelving unit on it.

And in front of this wall, I saw an
elderly man in a cardigan who was

obviously someone's really nice grandpa.

And I knew that this was also Robert.

And I knew that it was Steve's grandpa.

And from the meditation, I knew
that it was also time for Robert

to cross over to his next level.

I concluded from my dreams, from my
vision, from the communication with

Robert and the communication with Steve,
I concluded that Grandpa Robert had been

looking after this grandchild for some
time and needed to go to his next level.

And he needed my help.

After getting an idea of what I
needed to do for Robert to help him

cross over and what I needed to tell
Steve, I called Steve and I told him,

it's your grandfather and he's ready
to cross over to his next level.

I also told Steve that Robert is
a young man outside, but he's an

old man inside your apartment.

And Steve told me that his grandfather
had died in his early thirties.

So this was really beautiful to me
because it seemed that this spirit

had followed his children and then
followed his grandchildren and then

he must have matured as a spirit,
appearing as an elderly grandfather

when he was near his grandchild, even
though he had died as a young man.

So I asked Steve if he had a blue wall
with shelving that I had seen a vision of

in my meditations and he said yes I do.

So I knew that this was meant
to be part of our ritual.

Speaker: and I made a mental note of
the metal folding into metal vision

I had had but I didn't quite get it.

I didn't really see how
that could be relevant,

So I didn't tell Steve about it.

I just remembered it.

Speaker: We made an appointment for
me to come to Steve's apartment one

week later, and I spent that time
preparing a custom ritual for Robert.

This ritual obviously needed to
take place in front of the blue wall

for some reason, and I knew that it
was going to involve a conversation

between Robert and Steve through
me, and that's not always the case.

But I did know that they needed to talk
to each other in order for this to work.

One week later, I arrived at
Steve's apartment and he told me

he had told his family about it.

And those of them that knew Robert
said that this was how he was

Responsible, loving, and doting..

And it did not surprise them at
all that the spirit of Robert was

lingering near his grandchild.

For the ritual, the first order
of business was to talk with

Robert near the blue wall.

So I sent Steve out to wait
in another room while I had

this conversation with Robert.

And Robert did not have that much to say.

He actually just was saying, I'm ready to
move on, but I'm worried about leaving.

I'm ready to move on, but
I'm worried about leaving.

I'm ready And that was all.

That was all I got from Robert.

And so I sensed that it was now
time for a conversation between

grandfather and grandchild.

I brought Steve into the room with us.

I positioned myself between the two of
them, and I told Steve, Okay, Robert

is going to talk to you through me,
so you have to know that it's not

me, Jennifer, talking, it's Robert.

And also, I told him I will probably
cry, and don't worry, it's not me

crying, it's just part of the process.

These trapped spirits are usually sad or
frustrated and that often comes through

while I'm communicating with them.

So Steve was ready, I was ready,
Robert was ready, I stood between

them, I opened my palms up to each
of them, which is how I communicate

between two spirits or two beings,
and Robert began to speak through me.

And it was so clear that it alarmed me,
even though I have experience with this.

It was so clear what he was saying.

So this is what came out.

He said, Steve, I can't stay here anymore.

And Steve said, okay.

And then my crying began, as I
had predicted, and Robert said,

through me, I'm going to leave.

I will still be with you,
but not in the same way.

And Steve said, okay.

And the emotion behind what Robert
said next was so overwhelming.

It was full of toughness.

It was full of frustration,
but mostly it was full of love.

And he said, To Steve,

Are you going to take care of yourself?

And Steve was alarmed by the severity of
this statement, this question from Robert.

And he just immediately said, yes, yes.

And this was satisfying to Robert.

He did not want to talk anymore.

And it was the end of the conversation.

It's what he needed to know, that Steve
was going to take care of himself.

So I sent Steve out of the room
again and I began my ritual to help

Robert cross over to his next level.

I did what I do.

Robert went over very
willingly, very happily.

He was satisfied.

I think Steve was satisfied.

I was satisfied.

It was a beautiful experience.

Robert crossing over
because he needed to go.

After I had finished with that,

I brought Steve back in, and we did sort
of a summary of what had happened, and

what was going to probably happen next.

I told Steve, okay, Robert has moved
on, and I told him what I had surmised.

I told him, That I believe that Grandpa
Robert was looking after him and now

he's satisfied that you are okay and that
you're going to take care of yourself and

he can safely move on to his next level.

And Steve was really moved.

He had never met his grandfather
and to know that his grandfather

had been watching over him all this
time was very, very moving to Steve.

And it would seem that Grandpa Robert was
something of a guardian angel to Steve.

I looked up guardian angel, did some
research, and the Cambridge Dictionary

defines a guardian angel as a
spirit who is believed to protect

and help a particular person.

And a little more research, I found out
that the idea of guardian angels has

been central to many religions throughout
history, including Roman Catholicism,

Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

But belief in angels has been around
long before any religion was formed.

There are lots of different religious
opinions on contact with or visits

from deceased loved ones, what
it means, and what these deceased

loved ones would be called.

Guardian angels or spirit guides, ghosts,
friends from the other side, I don't know.

But this really happens, and I've
seen it happen so many times.

I, of course, believe in it.

Whatever you want to call it.

And I believe that in this case, Grandpa
Robert was guiding and protecting Steve.

Steve explained to me that his grandfather
had died in a train accident and the

train accident had been caused by a
problem with the trestle under the tracks

and I knew from this story that this
was the image of the metal folding into

other metal that I had seen in my dream.

This Crossing over was
particularly moving for me.

It was wonderful for me to help this
kind, kind grandfather move on and to

let Steve know that he was so loved by a
family member that he had never even met.

I spoke to Steve a few months
afterwards and he told me that

all was clear in the apartment.

Now, and although there was no activity
anymore, and he did not feel like

someone was watching him, and he
did not feel that he was not alone.

He still felt watched over
by his grandfather, and

I'm sure that that is true.

Speaker 2: And here's our second story.

Speaker: This is a story about
a message that I received

while I was getting a massage.

I booked myself a massage
at my favorite spa.

It's really fancy, beautiful
rooms, highly trained massage

therapists, really expensive.

And I always get a lot of
spirit activity when I go here.

It is a very energetically
active location.

I arrived in the early afternoon and I
was led to a different room that I am

usually in for my massages at this place.

It was sunny, much brighter than
the other rooms at this location.

And this location used
to be a doctor's office.

So all of these elegant,
new age y, soothing massage

rooms were former exam rooms.

Which I'm sure we're not as
comforting and relaxing to be in.

In this sunlit, light blue
room, my massage began.

Sometimes I chit chat a little bit
with the therapist in the beginning,

but I was pretty quiet for this one.

And as far as spirits go, usually
I am able to maintain boundaries

with them when I'm not working.

But in situations like this, a
massage with relaxing music playing

in the background, no talking.

It's pretty easy for spirits to get
my attention with like a simple hello.

And that happened.

I was really enjoying this massage and I
started to get a message and it was about

the name Eric and the statement, I want
them to know that they are my friends.

Now, I really wanted to stay
quiet, but this seemed important

and the spirit was so gentle.

I just wanted to help this spirit.

So I talked.

I told the massage therapist that I'm
a medium and she was cool with that.

So I proceeded, I said, there's
something about someone named Eric,

do you know someone named Eric?

And she said, well, sort of.

I know there was a couple's massage
in here about an hour ago, and it's a

married couple named Eric and Erica.

So that seemed to be it.

The message was not from Eric,
it was for Eric and Erica.

And I had gotten the image now that this
was the spirit of a woman talking to me.

So I asked the massage therapist, can
you get a message to Eric and Erika?

And she said, yes, the owner of
this location is personal friends

with them and sees them often.

So I told her, okay, the message from
this woman spirit for Eric and Erika

is tell them that they are my friends.

She agreed to tell the owner and
I was able to enjoy the rest of

this fabulous massage in silence.

And the spirit didn't talk to me anymore.

Although I did sense that she stayed
just sitting there in the room, you

know, but whatever, that's fine.

Nobody was talking to me.

The owner of the spa was an
acquaintance of mine and I ran

into her about a week later.

And she told me that she had
spoken to Eric and Erika, and they

immediately know who the spirit
was that was sending the message.

She didn't give me much detail.

But she did tell me that they told her
they had a friend who, at that time,

was at the very end of her life, and
she was no longer communicating, and

this is something that she would have
wanted to say to them before she passed.

She would want to, have wanted to say,
tell them that they are my friends.

And that was the end of my involvement.

I received no more communication
from any of the parties involved.

This was the first time I had gotten
a message from a spirit who was

still physically alive and I've
learned a little about where one's

consciousness might be at this brink
of transition to the other side.

I found an article online on the
National Institutes of Health website.

And the article comes from the
National Library of Medicine and

the IMCJ, which is the Integrative
Medicine, a Clinician's Journal.

And it's called, Case Report,
Energy Field Changes Approaching

and During the Death Experience.

And it was addressing the
art of end of life care.

So the background is This case report
discusses subtle energy changes

identified and observed in three case
studies during the dying process.

Biofield changes, and a biofield
is a massless field, not

necessarily electromagnetic, that
surrounds and permeates living

bodies and affects the body.

So, biofield changes were noted
during three case studies using

assessment procedures of hand scan and
penduling, which are Reiki practices.

Comparisons were made with near death
experiences and reports of care providers

regarding subtle energy changes observed
during their care of the terminally ill

as they moved through the dying process.

And the summary of the report is that.

Patterns of changes in the biofield
observed during the dying process

included the biofield decreasing
in size and intensity from the feet

upward and chakras closing or reducing
activity from the root to the crown

as the person moved closer to death.

And the energy field moved up and
outward from the crown with death.

So what I've gathered from this is that
someone who is dying as their chakras

close one by one from the root to the
crown, as described in this article,

They might be, before they die, in a
state where they would send messages

like a spirit who has already passed.

And I have heard stories from other
mediums about receiving messages

from people who are in the dying
process, and it has happened

to me a few times since then.

My guess is also in this case.

This spirit may have been following
this couple around, trying

to get this message to them.

And I also believe that the universe
somehow arranged for me, a medium,

to be in the room that they had
just left and this spirit knew to

wait there for me and I would hear
her message and get it to them.

And how all that happened, I do not know.

I am so grateful that I was able to get
this message, though, to Eric and Erica.

And hopefully bring comfort to this
spirit and help her to cross over.
